Inspiring words Sir. We need to be part of the customers team to understand their needs and intercept the signals. If only we can see things the way they do can we actually find the answer.

How right you are sir. Perhaps, your understanding and anticipation helps you well than market research or surveys. CEOs of major firms who have been able to grasp future only have survived themselves and their firms in trouble times like this.

True, Listening to the weak signals is only the mechanism for the high growth and i think the amplifier should be placed as near as possible to the client. We should not only perceive the needs of the customer but to uncover the silent pain. Through this we can maintain our competitive advantage . The advantage which is diffusing out at a fast rate and remain as a strategic advantage for a short period now.

One more advantage with this state of mind is the " Overall Excellence in current operations" as a by product.

It has always been mentioned that one should listen and follow the indications of the enviornment and try to modify his plans accordingly but I feel the main problem remains with the methods. There seems to be no structured way of doing so , for customer expactations there can be survey done and things in thier industry could be anticipated but for this to be successful , customers should be able to listen to thier enviornment and judge correctly

Hi.This is with reference to this blog on companies and the previous one on youth talent. There is a great commanility leading to concerns for the youth today. You rightly said about getting glocal. In the current scenario of customer’s changing needs, companies being cautious with regard to hiring, employee investment etc, please advise on some tips for people aspiring to join the IT/ITes industry. What should they focus on? How should they plan their learning needs? A blog on this topic with your views will be very helpful. Thanks
